In Memory of Fred Boyce

Stony Brook, New York October 27, 2009

Long time friend and four year board member of the NSLA, 68 years old, Fred Boyce, passed from this world to the next early this morning at Stony Brook hospital overcome by a heart condition.

He is survived by Mrs. Susan Boyce his wife of forty six years, their three daughters and eight grandchildren. Sue was his one and only high school sweetheart at Far Rockaway High School.

Fred and Susan started their now midsized “Class A Limousines” in Medford twenty years ago. They worked with LILA for five years before it merged with the NSLA and have been pouring out their service on our board ever since.

Susan is our NSLA secretary and Fred was on our Advisory Committee. As a member, the board could always depend on Fred to be at the door each general meeting with a bright smile and a positive attitude, collecting attendance fees, selling raffle tickets, sharing his wisdom, and simply being as helpful as humanly possible. We will all miss this strong, friendly, stand-up guy!

Funeral services have been changed to Saturday October 31, 7:00-9:00PM, and Sunday November 1, 2:00-4:00PM, and 7:00-9:00PM at Robertaccio funeral home 85 Medford Ave. (Route 112) Patchogue, NY.

Interment will be Monday November 2, 10:00AM at Funeral home to go to Washington Memorial Cemetery.
