US OPEN 2009 NEW UPDATE

DATES: August 31 - September 13, 2009

PLACE: The USTA National Tennis Center is located in Flushing Meadows, Corona Park, Flushing, N.Y. 11368

DIRECTIONS:

1. Black Car, Limo and Livery services are advised to use the 9P exit of Grand Central Parkway West. NYPD will direct vehicles to the NY State Pavilion.

2. Effective, Friday, September 4, 2009 the 2009 US Open Black Car, Limo and Livery drop-off area is at the NY State Pavilion supervised by NYC TLC Enforcement Personnel. Pre-Arranged waiting for a pickup is permitted at the NY State Pavilion. Drivers can stand on foot to "Meet & Greet" with name signs. No US Open Parking Permit is required for Parking lot #3 near the Unisphere.

3. If You Are Planning To Do A Pickup, Please Note: * You will need proof that you have been dispatched for a pickup. * You must have all the new NYC TLC markings for Black Car and Luxury drivers must also display your NYC TLC driver's license in the front passenger area of the car.

* Livery Drivers (only) - you must have the Livery Passenger Bill of Rights displayed behind the front passenger's seat and your NYC TLC driver's license behind the driver's seat.

NYC TLC INFO:

* Yellow Medallion Taxicab and Handicap drop-off is at the East Gate Parking lot B.

* The US Open Yellow Medallion Taxi Stand is located at the MTA Bus Parking Lot right by the ramp leading to the lot. It is on the south side of Roosevelt Ave. at 126th Street. NYC TLC Enforcement Personnel will be at the taxi stand and holding lot. They will allow five (5) taxis at the stand at a time.
