NEW TLC RULES EFFECTIVE JULY 2, 2009

NEW YORK CITY -- The NYC TLC has passed very important FHV rules that go into effect on Thursday, July 2, 2009. All mandatory TLC Approved Driver's License & FHV Permit Holders with night lighting for Black Cars and Luxury Cars must be installed. Livery Base Decals and Passenger Bill of Rights Decals can be obtained at Authorized TLC Meter Shops.

The NYC TLC has set up a new website. If you are a black car, livery or luxury limousine base owner, vehicle owner, driver or passenger, these new FHV rules affect you. TLC has a new section on its Web site to help you understand these rules and what they mean for you.
