NSLA member elected to Board of directors of the NLA

On December 30, 2008 the NLA announced that David Eckstein (Valera Global, Long Island City, N.Y.) will represent the U.S. Northeast Region on its Board of directors.

There is no doubt that David Eckstein's achievement on being elected to the Board of directors of the National Limousine Association will be spoken of for some time to come and that the admiration for his accomplishment is felt by all of us within the industry.

In a statement Mr. Eckstein said, "We’re all dealing with our Individual companies, industry as a whole, the US and the rest of the world is now faced with one of the most difficult business environments in a very long time. Our hope is that this period is as short and economically beneficial as possible. Therefore my first and most important goal is to work for the coordination of all of our industry associations in the North East Region I now represent. United We Stand Divided We Fall. This is the only way we can have our legislators work with us and not against us but only through unified numbers with the progressive plans of action to get things done.

To accomplish this, my responsibility to you individually, as an association and the industry as a whole is to listen, communicate, recommend, guide and coordinate actions to help solve our most important issues. Not an easy task or one that I take lightly but one that I will work to the best of my abilities."
